The Real Time Clock module with Battery Back-up (RTC) is a small daughter board that attaches to the back of a PixiePlus. The RTC is used to schedule control functions on the PixiePlus. This could include the lobby display to turn on Mon-Fri at 7:00AM and turn off at 6:00PM each night of the week. The RTC can work in conjunction with the PixiePlus built-in inactivity shut down timer as well. The RTC provides up to 36 calendar events including shut down, start up, security code enable and disabling features and more. This optional Real Time Clock (RTC) module, includes a Lithium battery to ensure your schedule of events is not lost if your site has a power outage. The RTC is configured through the unique PixiePlus Programming Wand (sold separately).
